Thanks to the support of BTC Curaçao, we’ve been able to acquire various new aids to enhance our efficiency and accessibility in our endeavors.
One significant impact is the installation of automatic doors. Previously, entering our establishment at Winkelcentrum Colon posed a challenge, as the entrance door required physical effort to open, particularly for individuals using wheelchairs or assistive devices. With the addition of a push-button mechanism, the door now will open automatically, greatly improving accessibility for everyone, including for the exit door.
In addition to the automatic doors, we’ve installed folding toilet bars to further enhance accessibility.
Moreover, the provision of tablets has enabled us to embrace digitalization, reducing paper usage to both benefit the environment and streamline our operations. These tablets are currently utilized for creating and evaluating guided exercise programs and documenting clients’ progress, With the support of our other partner BRIC we are turning our paper forms to digital forms so that the tablets can be used as well for intakes. Furthermore, with the development of our mobile app, Fappi, by our partner IBIS, tablets will also be utilized by our drivers to track their rides and confirm completed trips.
We’re also grateful that part of BTC Curaçao’s donation contributed to covering the production costs of our 2021/2022 impact report.
These advancements mark significant progress towards achieving a more inclusive and impactful Curaçao.
